I was born on the Commonwealth of Dominica in Wesley, Village. Not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, Dominica is located in the Lesser Antilles between the
French islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. After growing up throughout the Eastern Caribbean, I moved to Rotterdam, Holland as a teenager where I learned to speak fluent Dutch. In my early twenties, I moved to the United States, married my husband Bryan, and became a mother. Currently, my family and I live in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan.
